Characters: ALL!
Date: March 1 - 31

( click for full size )
The Tavimbians continue to be welcoming to their guests, and while Foreigners are still required to carry their issued pass stamps while in Hatal, they are starting to become recognized. The stamps are made of a brassy metal, a little larger than a credit card, and inscribed with their information, their date of arrival, and whether they've had any run-ins with the laws in Tavimbi (it will be stamped accordingly by the authorities if such happens.)
OOC: There are starters in the comments for various areas of Hatal, or you can use the rest of the post for anything on Tavimbi which doesn't fit under those headings. All city descriptions, as well as NPC contacts for threading, can be found in the Tavimbi OOC post, which is currently stickied in the OOC comm.
Be sure to also check the March Itinerary for up to date happenings in Hatal, and to tag this entry with your character tag when you join in.

THE CAUSEWAY LEVEL
The Causeway is just as busy this month as last, and the Tavimbians are starting to recognize those who spend the most time there. Foreigners and kedan both who make frequent purchases at the shops along this Level will find themselves getting preferred pricing, as well as not-so-subtle urgings to bring along their friends and colleagues.
B. After March 13
Much of the damage to the Causeway level from the earthquake is cosmetic, but it does require moving away the trash and debris that fell from overhead. While visiting guests to Hatal are not expected to help with the clean-up, certainly any assistance they give will be welcome and well-received, and consequently, Foreigners may find themselves gifted a drink or one of the coveted Rakenga meat skewers, or perhaps a coupon for a discount at some of the local shops.
C. March 15 - Protest
In the wake of the earthquake and the deaths of many Kin'nal, a crowd of the three other races (Igheeri, Muin and Sinayg) will stage a protest. There aren't any Kin'nal in the crowd because a) they're working on cleaning up the areas of the Lorn Level that were affected and b) they're too scared that any of them who participate would be completely ostracized. Even talking to a Kin'nal about the protest will be met with furtive glances, and a clear desire to beat a hasty retreat.
