THE FIRST MEETING OF ASS. (BLAME ROY.)
Characters: Everyone involved in the Malicant Investigation force now aptly named Asshole Secret Service :'| It is not my fault okay I'm just doing what I'm told. If you're on that list in the OOC post, assume that you've already gotten info out of Iorveth and you got your invite to the meeting :|b if you'd like to be involved in this still, drop me a comment on that ooc post and we'll work it out.
Date: 6/14
Location: Random ruined city on the bare shell outskirts of Tu Vishan
Situation: Iorveth has contacted you in person to inform you of this meeting at this time at this location and here you are and we are now going to discuss how we are going to NOT DIE and shit.
Warnings/Rating: Idk bad words?
[ The city is more of a carcass - burnt out huts and ruined, a completely dried up dent in the bare shell of Tu Vishan a ways away that one could guess had once been a beautiful lake. As Iorveth's narrowed gaze skims over the area, surveying it while he waits for all those he contacted to arrive, he thinks of how Keeliai would appear mirroring this dull, ashen memory of a village. He wonders how far off that may be from their present reality. Or perhaps if those foreigners summoned here to be sacrificed as fodder have been all that has kept Keeliai from the same fate. He can't imagine why the Emperor would be bothering to protect the home of the Kedan, given that by when Annabeth had told him, they'd been a failed attempt at being the same. Perhaps the weakness of them touched her heart enough to spare them, but he somehow doubts she's that soft of a woman. If 'woman' can really even be applied. She is not human or kedan, so who's to say she conforms to the same standards of gender either?
Once it seems that all he'd spoken to have arrived and settled into talking amongst themselves, Iorveth steps forward into the crowd of them and begins speaking, as if just assuming the attention would be granted to him. After a hundred years of commanding soldiers, it's simple habit. But those soldiers hadn't been just strangers enlisting just for necessity of needing information, needing to survive an unknown threat. They'd been friends, brothers and sisters. Men and women he'd trekked across fields and mountains with, watched the untold sadness of their world together, lived through horror and shared stories from their own lives. They were family. These people are not nearly that, and so his tone is neutral and cold, detached.
But if nothing else, Iorveth is capable of doing what needs to be done, and that is precisely what he will do here. ]
[[ ooc;sticking up some subthreads real quick - please hold! holy tl;dr, OKAY DONE, GO FOR IT. Punch me on AIM or Plurk @ Wuzzafuzzle, or on the OOC post linked at the top if there's anything I need to fix :Tb]]

[She's been working on her powers for months now, but they're still attached to her emotions, and even just talking about it makes her stomach feel like it's in knots.]

I can transport large groups of people instantly, if necessary. [Cas can't quite seem to hold his invisibility here -something about the dimensions being all skewed- but he can still fly, and it would be pointless to have an invisible soldier become visible just to move people when he's a perfectly good taxi cab.]
Communication might be a problem, but I should hear someone if they pray for me.
no subject
She does a double take at the guy who speaks up on the word 'pray'.] Pray for you? [Is he a god?]
no subject
It won't be necessary for you to reveal yourself. The more stealth we can keep on this expedition, the better.
no subject
[Calling it 'prayer' is weird. She prays to the goddess, sure, but...]
Maybe a designated bunch should be assigned to you if they're going in. So that they remember to pray to you when they need out?
no subject
You will not need to - we will find another way or find others that can take themselves in unnoticed.
We may well need items taken out of the palace undercover, however. [ A flash of a short smile. u did guud, gurl ]

She flashes a smile back.] Then I'm your girl.
