Wakey, Wakey, and Return to the Land of... Chelonauts, I suppose!

Characters: Javert, Lin, Hoffman, Marius, and ANYONE AT ALL
Date: Javert's awakening through Friday, July 19th
Location: EA-1C and around the city, mostly Earth Sector but he will venture into Fire, Wood, and others
Situation: Javert snaps out of the Malicant-induced mind trap. And doesn't understand a thing anymore. Frustrated with his careening thoughts, he takes a moment or two to catch up with the bulletins, then eventually heads out in search of a way to drain his mind completely. Bars may happen. Also included: "Interview" sessions with Lin and Hoffman and a Marius Interruptus.
Warnings/Rating: References to mind games and severe mental disturbances, references to self-harm, mentions of suicide and suicide attempts, mild language, drinking
Notes: You can choose to knock at Javert's door if you're interested (Just add a new thread), or you can run into him around the city/at a pub. Just specify where/when (he'll be out by evening) and we'll run with it.

Javert has not been seen or heard from for days.

He stopped answering bulletins. He has not put out any calls. He has not reported to work, neither with Wayne Industries nor his independent foreigner-led makeshift enforcement consultation group. A jog by his flat at EA-1C would reveal darkened windows, nothing stirring within.

Was he whisked away? Did Javert disappear from Keeliai completely, vaporized into thin air, like many others before him? Was he killed, while the rest of his investigation team at the Palace of Landed Sky managed to escape?

There was only one way to find out.

[So.

Giant turtle.

It's still a bit hard to come to terms with it, considering the fact that he's on said giant turtle and there's people walking everything and--

Yeah.

Giant turtle.

A few days in since his arrival here and Rory is still trying to get used to it all, although the Doctor's presence has helped somewhat. It's always nice to have a familiar face after all, even if Amy isn't around... but he can manage. He's done it for 2000 years, after all.

He's spent most of the day today just going around the place and trying to get used to it all, which has sort of worked. He's going to need a bit more time before actually remembering places, but its a start. That's better than being completely clueless.]
pandoricas: (listen to me for once.)

what do you mean 'possibly'

[OOF.

Okay, that had been entirely unexpected. Rory stumbles back from the sudden impact of some stranger deciding to collide into him, but he manages to steady himself before he can topple onto the floor entirely.

The stranger however is not as lucky; as soon as Rory straightens himself he can only stare at the man who is pretty much doing some sort of strange childish tantrum on the ground and well isn't that a familair sight. At least the Doctor hadn't been that bad... not that it was a good thing in the first place--]

M-Me?

[Rory nearly squeaks out the word, pointing dumbfoundedly at himself for a moment before the silence seems to click something with him. The guy... doesn't look that all good, now that he's looking closely. Kind of flushed--was he drunk? God, Rory doesn't hope so. He's bad at dealing with drunk people, especially the angry ones.

Still, its not like he can just leave the poor sod alone, especially when he starts to try and stand again.]

Um-- [Hurrying over to the stranger now, and flailing just a bit as he tries to decide if he should reach out to help him.] Do you need any help, er, sir?
pandoricas: (looking left.)

he's not your nanny javert

[...yeah just about anybody can tell you're in bad shape there, good sir. Rory is just going to be here now eyeing you very disapprovingly. Why is he always stuck with the weird/hard things? As if being stuck on a giant turtle wasn't difficult enough as it is.

Rory makes an aborted attempt to get closer to the strange man when he fails to stand up properly, flailing a little in his head. Really, just what should he do? He can't really call for help, considering they were pretty far from one of those console things - it would be a lot more easier if they were as portable as a phone.]

I'm not gawking. [Pointedly, as he moves to the man and attempts to aid him. Guess he really doesn't have much of a chance in this - and Rory could never be that heartless to leave a guy on the streets like this, rude or not.

After getting the man up onto his feet, Rory does his best to support him, although he also can't help but eye him nervously.]
...just don't--throw up on me or anything, alright?
pandoricas: (I need a moment.)

he's already nannying one manchild, find another one X(

[Yep, Rory certainly has a bad feeling about this. But still that can't really stop him from helping somebody when they need it - and honestly getting vomit all over him won't be the worst thing that's happened, considering his life. It will just mostly be rude and troublesome, but he will manage.]

Um-- [Is... he supposed to respond to that? Rory is not sure, and he's still halfway through debating if he should respond or not when the man pushes him away. Rory stumbles back a bit, but manages to get his balance quickly and mostly just sort of stares as the man waves him goodbye.

...yeah, he's certainly going places tonight, considering the way he's moving. Places like alleyways and other general bad places to be in when you're drunk.

Rory, being Rory, can't help but worry, and since he can help Rory will now awkwardly trail behind, wondering if he should attempt to do anything befoer the guy bangs into the wall by accident or something.]
