YOU DROPPED SOMETHING, LET ME HELP YOU.
Here you go. [She sounds so, so happy right now.] You dropped this.

Avatar Korra. Thank you.
[Somewhere, out of the depths of his whole being Batman thing and all related abilities and focus, he dredges up a smile. It's only a tiny bit of a grimace.]

Anytime! [It takes a second to register-]
I don't think we've met?
[No elderly gentlemen that she's aware of off the top of her head. The only few are patients at the clinic.]
no subject
I don't usually look like this. It's Bruce Wayne.
no subject
Now she looks a bit sheepish since she had a fondness for the Wayne family and had only met the head figure himself once in his office, right here in the Metal Sector.]
So it got you too. [This is the first case she’s seen where someone was drastically aged up. Something she’d tell Zatanna since the magician is looking for any and all effects the spell had.]
Would you like a hand? [She proffers out her arm for him to take.] I’m a lot sturdier than that cane, and I promise I won’t fall to the ground.
[All smiles, genuine ones because Bruce has amazingly nice kids (Damian not withstanding) which means he must be just as kind hearted.
Mostly the elder Dick Grayson would be to blame for her outlook.]
no subject
[That's a bit of a growl, it's the only thing that belies his true feelings on the matter. Zatanna is kind of on his shit-list for this, not a word of a lie.]
And thank you, but I should manage fairly well on my own. Being this age is hard enough without adding unnecessary reliance on other people.
[Dick does that to people, Korra. It's k.]

You don’t have to worry too much longer, my friend’s already working on it. Magic’s her thing.
[She raises her eyebrows and give an indulgent smile.]
There’s no ‘unnecessary’ part when it comes to me Mr. Wayne. [She wiggles her elbow as if that would make it all the more tempting.]
I’m the Avatar, it’d be weird if people didn’t rely on me.
no subject
[He keeps his tone light and non-serious. He has every reason to be annoyed, and it gives nothing of his other persona away to be so. Not to Korra, at least, who's barely cognizant of her own nose in front of her face.]
Oh? In that case, who do you rely on, Korra?
no subject
Me? [That had been the first time anyone asked her that and it takes a moment for her surprise at the question to subside.
While her family is a comfort, her parents weren’t the ones she turned to when things came down to the wire. Tenzin was her stick-in-the-mud mentor and his advice and training had helped her, but he wasn’t her fall back.
She gave a shrug and answered simply:] …me.
no subject
If you don't mind my saying so, that seems like an awfully lonely way to live.
[Shh personal insights shh.]
no subject
It’s how a lot of the past Avatars had to live. [Sure they had friends and teachers, but the Avatar was the what the people of the world relied on. It was unfair for the Avatar to do so to them, wasn’t it?]
But if it keeps people safe and maintains balance in the world, then it’s all okay.
[A beat.]
When I get my bending back anyway. [She’s still getting used to Super Korra.]
no subject
[He says that with perfect congeniality, as if he was simply commenting on a haircut she'd gotten or a new pair of shoes.]
I thought maybe it was just my age!
[Ha, ha, ha...]
no subject
My airbending isn’t that good. [She says it with a half smirk.]
But hey, you look good for your age. At least you didn’t get stuck as a four year old, right? [Because that would be a nightmare.]
But yeah, I think I got some superhero’s powers. Strength, flying, and speed. Which narrows it down to most of them. [Right now, Korra’s mainly thinking somehow she and Kara ended up switching abilities.]
no subject
I don't know, I haven't paid that much attention to the superheroes. There always seems to be so many of them, it's a little daunting. Have you discovered anything else you can do?
no subject
Oh yeah! Hang on a second. [That question just brightens her day up and she hovers above the ground. She’s gone, a blue blur fading is all that’s left.
For about four seconds anyway.
Then she’s flying back holding an ice cold water bottle in one hand and an ornate rickshaw, yes: one (1) cart, in the other.]
Here you go. [She holds out the water and lowers the rickshaw to the ground.] And I rented this for you.
[Since Bruce doesn’t want to walk, and she can hardly blame him considering his current age, Korra’s opted to cart him wherever he wants to go.] Hop in and tell me where to.
