Characters: Molly Carpenter and YOU
Date: 5/15/14, but mostly a catch-all.
Location: Anywhere in the city, but mostly around the earth sector.
Situation: Molly is recovering, helping rebuild, and trying out some shielding spells. It never hurts to experiment, right?
Warnings/Rating: None as of yet!

A: [Molly may be more of a wizard than a carpenter's daughter, these days, but she still knows her way around a hammer and nails. (The lack of power tools tends to help a bit, too.) She can be found near various areas that were bombed and/or damaged in the attacks, helping rebuild. It makes her feel somewhat more useful than she had been during the attacks, most of which were spent huddled in a ball in her own rooms. Should you run into her, she will likely greet you with a cheerful smile and a handshake.]

B: [Today, Molly can be found near her own apartments, instead of working on the damaged ones. She is outside, just in case something might go wrong -- never can be too careful. In any case, there is a large circle drawn out in the dirt in front of her place, with a small pile of furniture in the center of it. Every so often, she is chucking a fireball or a convenient rock at the pile, from different directions and different angles. So far, the pile is untouched, so her shield seems to be working. She's just trying to figure out how she can make it bigger. And hopefully impenetrable by certain folks whose names begin with 'M'.]

[Superman isn't a carpenter, and the closest relation she has to them is helping his father fixing the barn when a hurricane or something hit their farm. However, as Superman he'd had to help rather often to rebuild- rebuild cities he'd more often than not destroyed himself in the middle of a battle, but now isn't the time to dwell on it. Point is, even though Superman's no expert he still isn't going to pass the chance to help out.

And it's in the while doing just that he sees her.]

Do you need help with that? [He offers, pointing at a particularly big piece of rubble.]

[Molly might be quietly admiring the view, slightly distracted, but she gives him a nod once that registers.]

Sure, that'd be great. [She heads over to grab one side of the rubble, smiling a little.]

Never thought I'd be fixing something with Superman.

Well, nowadays we all need to work on fixing things in this place. [He answers with a smile, easily reaching to move the rubble. It's been one of the hardest part of the construction job so far: taking care of the buildings that had exploded before building new ones.]

You have me at a disadvantage. I don't know your name.

That's true enough. Good thing I'm related to a carpenter.

[Oh. Right. Introductions are a thing, aren't they. Please excuse the slight blush, there.]

I'm Molly. Uh, sorry.

Nice to meet you, Molly. [He says with a smile, holding a hand out for her to shake as he holds the rubble with the other.]

If you know anything about carpentry, even if it's through osmosis from your relative, it will be really useful right now.

[She shakes the offered hand, firmly and cheerfully.] Nice to meet you, too.

I know a little. I used to help my dad on the job sometimes, before I became the unofficial babysitter.

A little is enough in this place. [The handshake is firm, he can appreciate that.]

Is there any way I can help? I've mostly been moving rubble around.

Um. How good are you with a hammer and nails?

I have used them before? [He says with a smile, hands on his hips.]

If that's what I needed I can easily do it.

There's probably some spots that could use it, I think, but I'm not really in charge or anything.
