Rapunzel

I. Hospital

[Rapunzel has been spending an awful lot of her time after the attacks at the hospital. In addition to the usual sort of medical attention, she has been using her hair to heal the more serious wounds inflicted on both the foreigners and Keeliai. It's not a secret anymore, really, but she's not publicizing about it either. You'll find her caring for those still recovering, today. She's bringing food and drink, changing dressings, and making sure that everyone is as comfortable as possible.]

II. Clothing Shop

The shop left to Rapunzel by Alcuin didn't suffer too badly in the attacks, but it still needed some minor repairs and some redecorating. She's taking fewer orders than usual just because her schedule has been so busy and clothes seem to be on the back burner for everyone anyway. Today she's just outside the shop, giving it a new coat of paint. She's using a lilac shade for most of the color, but adding small embellishments in gold with a more delicate brush.]

III. Around all of district suites.

[Rapunzel is traveling door to door at all of the suites, bearing small tokens that she either found or made. Dainty necklaces, knitted hair bands, small sketches or paintings...just anything to bring a little cheer. Perhaps she's at your door with your gift, or perhaps you stop her in her travels. She does have a very large basket with her that people are bound to notice.]

Darcy

I. Welcome Center

[From the moment Darcy had heard about the war she was to be involved with she had been hoarding away food. Not the perishable kind of course, but the kind that would last. She had a sizable collection hidden in her suite by the time the attacks came. After a talk with Jack Frost, Darcy agreed to share the wealth. It's not enough to feed everyone for an extensive period of time, but it's enough to tide people over for a while. She's set up at the welcome center, ready to ration out food. She's keeping a list of who's already come and how much they received. She's also encouraging to donate what they can so that the food can be spread out among everyone.]

II. Door to Door

[And speaking of donations...Darcy has also started spreading the word around in person. She's knocking at doors and letting people know about the food collection, informing them in case they need food, and making people aware that donations are welcomed. Any help would be appreciated! :)]

[Since the attacks and Enjolras establishing himself as someone who could be of use himself, he's spent a good deal of time at the hospital, though it's been difficult to get to know the others that he works with yet. Today though, as he's stepping through to gather bandaging of his own, he's spotting the mademoiselle with the long hair not very far off, and giving her a smile as he turns to pass by.]

Ah, good afternoon, Mademoiselle.

[Rapunzel gives him a kind smile in greeting.]

Good afternoon! Did you need help with something? [She looked about him to see if he had any obvious injuries that might need attention. Because she's just been so busy lately it wasn't always easy for her to tell who was working there with her and who was not.]

[solo_patria]

Ah, I've come on staff myself, actually.

[he's explaining, smiling as he moves over towards the linen.]

At the moment, I've got bandages to gather, and it occurs I've not met many of you, I've joined up so recently. I am Enjolras, of Paris.

Oh! Of course!

[Rapunzel reached out her hand in greeting.]

It's very nice to meet you, Enjolras. I'm Rapunzel.

[solo_patria]

Mademoiselle Rapunzel, then.

[Enjolras took her hand, squeezing it in greeting for a moment.]

I am pleased to be working among you.

And you, too! It's always good to see more people helping around here, especially with everything that's happened.

[solo_patria]

Yes, certainly. I was in a cafe at the time, I...saw so many injured.

[He's shaking his head a bit, sadly.]

Well, it made me wish that I could do a lot more, somehow. I am glad to be of help here, though I wish we did not need it.

Oh! [She looks frightened as she imagines what he must have seen during the attacks.]

That must have been very difficult. Are you alright though? You weren't injured?

[solo_patria]

It was. It...made me realize that I needed to find something more active to do in all of this, to find a role.

[He'd already taken things seriously, but this had really shown him where he might be of some help beyond the air army.]

I was unharmed, thankfully. Worried for some friends who were not quite so lucky, but we've all survived, at least.

I'm glad to hear it. [She let's out a relieved sigh. The fewer causalities, the better.]

I'm sure that your friends are being well taken care of now.

[solo_patria]

Ah yes, they are at that.

[And his smile is bigger as he considers that point.]

I am just glad to be able to do SOMETHING after all of that.

I know what you mean. I feel a bit helpless when it comes to all the fighting, but here I can help.

[solo_patria]

[And there is a nod from Enjolras.]

This to some extent, yes. I can shoot a bit, and fence, a bit, maybe even decently, but it seems that here, everyone who comes from places that are much more advanced know so much more of what to DO out there. I am a member of the air armee, but there is only so much to be done from dragonback as well. Here...

[And he's pausing, clearly considering a good way to continue this.]

Well, it's as though I've the power to do more than that, and after the attacks, perhaps even to help to heal the city itself, if that makes any sort of logical sense.

I think it does. People don't always think of the other aspects of war, I think. So it's good to have people who are now.

[solo_patria]

They do at that. I am more familiar with those myself, though I would have much preferred there had been no need for it. In order to have peace and harmony, some of us must sacrifice but the toll that it can take is...funny enough, I think I've found a bit more peace here, myself, already if that makes any sense.

[Perhaps it does anyway he thinks, moving around to gather the linens he needs now.]
