Freerunning Club of Keelial
Characters: Shay Cormac; Open
Date: 11th through 15th April
Location: Each Sector of Keelial.
Situation: Synchronising Viewpoints and getting a better look around.
Warnings/Rating: HARDCORE PARKOUR!!!!1!1!!. But seriously, none, really, unless anyone wants to fight with the guy.
Over the weekend and the early days of next week, in any of the sectors, if anyone keen-eyed enough were to scan the public in the hours leading up to dusk, they'll notice a man wandering with the populace. I say keen-eyed, because, yes, the man is obviously not Kedan, likely a Foreigner, but... He seems to blend in so well with the people that you'd have to be paying attention. His clothing contributes; Dark-coloured leathers, red fabric... it definitely looks old-time-y... 18th Century, to be exact.
If you follow his movements, once the light disappears enough, the figure moves down an alleyway and hops up onto a rooftop, with the ease of someone perfectly used to this type of movement. Pausing to look around, the figure then heads off towards the highest point in that sector, hopping between rooftops, barely pausing unless something distracts him.
Shay needed to get a better scope of the city. He did that from as high points as he could find.

this all right?
She spotted him passing through Fire, and it was interesting that she had to take a few looks to do so; something about the man made her eyes want to skip over him. The way he carried himself, perhaps. Regardless, China did not appreciate it when oddities went unexplained, and shortly after she focused on him she made the decision to trail after him.
It was not particularly subtle; she was a tall, well-dressed woman who turned heads by simple fact of her existence, and even keeping to the edges of the streets did little to hide that. To that end, she didn't make an effort to conceal that she was following, was rather waiting to see what the man would do with that fact.

What it shows him is someone following him. Marked in a bright gold, plainer than day. Of course, she's not making it hard to not notice, as mentioned. Shay frowns slightly, but keeps going, keeps moving, before eventually ducking into his planned alleyway.
Instead of hopping onto the rooftops, though, he ducks into the shadows, waiting.

China trails him that way as if there is nothing at all wrong with following a strange man into a dark alley in a large city, but she does make the concession of curling her fingers in briefly to brush against her palms. A symbol appears on each hand as she does, glowing faintly, but she continues to hold them relaxed at her sides as she turns the corner and glances around.

"It's a tad impolite to stalk someone." He calls out, cancelling the sight so he can see normally.

There's next to nothing magical about him. Shay was trained in the ways of the Assassins, he can blend in almost anywhere.
"Guess I just have one of those faces." He remarks, almost glibly. "Is that the reason you followed me?"

A curious tilt of the head. "What I have to hide? That's a rather bold question, don't you think?" There's a tone of amusement to his voice. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I do like people who get to the point, but..." He folds his arms. "If I was hiding something, what makes you think I'll tell you?"

She doesn't much care if he forgives her that or not, of course. It's a tactic, like any other. "You may, of course, disappear into the night and thereby confirm my suspicions that you are, shall we say, up to something; or, we may continue to bait each other until someone lets something inexcusable slip. Which do you prefer, my dear?"

China was right, however. Sometimes, things get tiresome, and he'd prefer to get on with his little "mission."
"I am not up to anything. If you notice strange behaviour, it is simply a force of habit. Besides, since when was it a bad thing to be able to blend in with the locals?"
no subject
"Only uncommon," China says thoughtfully. "For a human to be able to blend with those who are not." She's excepting vampires from this, and even they have something off about them during the day. "Most would assume it impossible, or unnecessary. Foreigners are somewhat better regarded than they were, now, but still you wish for no one to note your passage."
She'd almost believe him, though. He's the straightforward type, and as much as his behavior is suspicious, his attitude is... slightly less so.
