August Catch All
Characters: Seto Kaiba and YOU
Date: All of August
Location: Places of varying nature.
Situation: Once Kaiba realizes he's stuck here, he tries to deal with it. Aka Kaiba harasses all the NPCs ever.
Warnings/Rating: Insults pending.
It took a few days, and while he didn't admit to it, Kaiba was smart enough to realize he was stuck here. Whether it was real or not. And unfortunately, the testing of his Duel Disk lead him to realize that things were, indeed, real. Or at least more real than any virtual world he's ever created. After all, people don't usually get hungry when their mind is separated from their body, Joey Wheeler aside. While he had gotten the month's ration of Juulan from the welcome center, grudgingly, Kaiba knew that he had to feed himself and that meant making money. And that meant finding a job. Which also meant he was at the mercy of employers. He hated being in that sort of position. However, he had started from the bottom and worked his way up before. He could very well do it again.
Seto could be found wandering around the city, studying it. His favorite haunt being the Metal Sector as it was obviously more up his alley. He inspected buildings, asked questions of the Kedan, and gathered information. He was less inclined to seek help or speak to other Foreigners, considering the lovely welcome he'd received. Besides, he could do things on his own.
He also had to find himself a place to stay, which lead to him finding that abandoned place where some palace gardens supposedly use to be. It was empty, nobody was using it, and it was actually decent. So he took it upon himself to settle there. It was also reasonably secluded from other Foreigners and Kedan alike, and Kaiba did like his privacy.
Wherever he goes, Kaiba takes his Duel Disk and card deck with him. He quickly discovered the fascination some Kedan had for Foreigner technology, and wasn't about to risk it getting stolen.

Closed to Bakura
Thus Kaiba walks up to and entered the dojo, taking a moment to look around and see if he can spot the particular person he's here for.
Re: Closed to Bakura
Kaiba's arrival is met with a grin, and he doesn't raise his voice over the hubbub of the dojo's practice spaces, making Kaiba come closer if he wants to hear. He doesn't suspect that the brunette's appearance here is mere chance; nothing Kaiba ever does is left to chance, anymore than Bakura's moves are.
"Well, well. You're right on time."
Re: Closed to Bakura
He then walks over, folding his arms and giving Bakura an uninterested look. But he will humor him.
"In time for what?"

Despite the mocking words, he did wonder why Kaiba had chosen to stop by now. Bakura had done his due diligence checking on the teen following the fire, and hadn't been especially surprised when Kaiba hadn't taken the prodding well.

With that, Seto looked around and then sat himself down wherever it was convenient. Making it clear he wanted to stick around for a bit.

And he folds his arms, looking at Bakura evenly.
"Something about summoning real monsters? Don't tell me you've stooped so low as to play mind games with your students."

I need a paid. Aksdlhgd
This had happened once before after all. When he'd seen the text on Ra's card, and had been able to clearly read the words. Just like then, he knew the words were foreign, but he'd never actually heard them before. Kaiba was fluent in a number of languages, but Egyptian wasn't one of them. At least... he had never actually learned it. So how was he able to understand that?!

"How perceptive."
He can give Bakura that much at least.
"I would have guessed you have a duel disk and tricked the Kedan into believing they were real. Unless you can back up that claim."

The thief turned a speculative but wicked grin on the CEO. "So if they're not illusions, and they're not holograms, are you certain you want me to call your bluff on the remaining option? I'd hate to finish shattering what little denial you've got left."
no subject
"Try me."
He's not afraid of your supposed real monsters, Bakura.

"Fine, I'll see you then."
And with that he rose and headed for the door.
