Situation: Now that she knows Adrien is safe-- the bug is on a hunt for her actual cat friend.

It was still early in the afternoon when she appeared-- a strange girl clad in a red spandex suit speckled with black spots. Her upper face was hidden by a matching mask; black hair pulled back with trailing red ribbon ties. There's a yo-yo attached at her hip-- a tool that she uses to help her propel between buildings. She's not particularly keeping out of sight. Instead, she seems more concerned with covering more space.

When she stops-- and she's stopped in a number of different places in her search-- she's quick to address anyone who will listen and in fact, her inquiries explain certain aspects of her behavior.

"Excuse me... I'm looking for someone. I was wondering if you might have seen him. He's about this tall, blonde hair-- he's dressed like a black cat..." Trust me. She knows how weird that sounds. But right now she's honestly grateful for how much he'd stand out.

This person is, it would seem, the cause of her concern. She's trying not to seem it, but the truth is she feels anxious to find him. She'd already waited longer than she should have. If something happened then she would feel personally responsible. She never should have abandoned him this long knowing what had been going on the last few days.

Or if she doesn't approach you specifically you might have seen her travelling the rooftops only to land and check her yo-yo... It seems to fip open to something with a strange display, similar to a tracking device. In the process however, it's not entirely unlikely she might bump into you quite literally.

There are already a handful of people who spend time on Keeliai's rooftops - at least a few are superheros in the worlds they come from, and Pepper is one of them. Usually she runs these patrols at night, but the occasion calls for a flight over the city. It's then that she spots a newcomer in bright red hopping from building to building with what looks like a yo-yo of all things.

Curious, Pepper angles downward and hovers level with the roof the strange girl is jumping to.

"Hey there," she calls, waving. Behind the faceplate, Pepper is smiling. "Nice outfit."

Because what better way is there to introduce yourself?

It had been quite a shock at first, but when the surprise wore off Ladybug had to admit that the presence of so many other powerful individuals was something of a comfort. The idea of having more allies was more than a little welcome, especially while she was still getting a feel for Keeliai.

Hopping onto the next roof, she pulls her yo-yo back in and takes a good look at-- what looks like a highly advanced robot. This wasn't her first encounter with one, but it's the first she hasn't had to fight.

And it sounds like a girl too.

The greeting gets Ladybug smiling. Although she hadn't picked it herself, the red and black suit had certainly grown on her. "Thanks. Yours isn't too shabby either."

If it was an outfit. Could something like that even be considered an outfit? Regardless-- it was a good look.

"I'll pass the compliment on to Tony." Pepper grins inside the armor, and she's still grinning when she retracts the faceplate. This hadn't been the design she'd envisioned, but it was actually a lot better. Definitely more functional.

"You must be new in town," she ventures. "Are you searching for something?" Pepper wants to know then, gesturing to the yo-yo.

"Please do." It makes her wish she could have designed her own-- even though she's become rather attached to it.

"As a matter of fact, I am." With a few clicks she brings up an image of Chat Noir-- goofy grin and all. "A lost kitten. My partner, Chat Noir."

Pepper brightens a little more when Ladybug shows her the image.

"Oh, I know him! He works with us on the police force," she says immediately. "Chat usually comes in for night patrols. You guys are from the same world then, that's awesome. You must have one of those Miraculous things, too, right?"
