I Will Let You Down
Characters: Bisi and Chat (for now)
Date: Backdated to mid october
Location: Bisi's house in the Sky Sector
Situation: Bisi is anxiously waiting to hear news about Mag
Warnings/Rating: nothing (for now)
Bisi's house is tucked away in a cul de sac of the sky quarter, an unassuming house similar to those around it. Humble, small.
It's a Kin'nal who answers the door for Chat, a wave of heat pours out of the door when it's open. A family of Kin'nal were living in her house, and the stove was running round the clock burning fuel to keep the house comfortable for them.
The Kin'nal ushers chat inside so the heat doesn't get out. Bisi isn't far, she's given the bedroom to the Kin'nal family, and is sleeping on a bedroll tucked into the corner. She looks up distractedly as Chat enters.

He has a thousand questions in his head. How was this Mag? Why was she different? What was her connection to Bisi? But he knew more than most that some secrets needed to be kept, and he wasn't about to pry. If she wanted to talk about it, that would be her choice, and hers alone.
He gives a nod of thanks to the Kin'nal, following the lead to Bisi, and offering her a small smile.
"Hey you. Look who I found."

Bisi was so excited she hopped up from her place in the bedroll, a poor decision. The strength immediately left her legs and she stumbled forward. It didn't deter her, as she half-scrambled/crawled over to Chat and Valkyr.
"Where did you find her?" Bisi asked, putting her hands on Valkyr's damaged chassis, as if to make sure she was real. Her thoughts of Mag were momentarily gone.

"I heard a cry for help, Kylo had her," he looked over at Valkyr, then back at Bisi. "He called her Mag. I uh...don't really get how it works, like, if she's a robot-evolution or something, but uh...yeah."
no subject
"Evolution? No." That was silly and also semantically incorrect. "Something strange happened."
She traced her hands along Valkyr's chassis, noting the new damage. "What was he doing to her?" she asked in concern and also anger.
"She's been through enough of this."
no subject
"He said he was studying her."
no subject
no subject
"Can you do anything to help her?"
no subject
"But thank you for bringing her back." Valkyr was strong. She wouldn't let this get her down.
"Despite the strange circumstances."
no subject
How do Warframes work for 600.
"Hey, don't mention it. She was in trouble. I couldn't just leave her there."
He shifts his feet a little, folding his arms and frowning towards the door.
"Look. Do you want me to hang around a while? Just in case Kylo shows up and causes more trouble for you?"
no subject
no subject
"...I guess that's one way of dealing with it."

Finally she put her hand on Valkyr's chest, and white light started to halo around Valkyr as Bisi began to create Transference. Mag slowly stirred to life.
no subject
So for now, all he can do is watch uncomfortably.
no subject
"It was my fault that Kylo Ren got ahold of Mag. I was pushing my emotions onto her, and it was turning into resentment. It caused transference to fail."
no subject
"Wait. So you two are...connected? Like...emotionally?"
He doesn't sound shocked- more curious than anything.
no subject
With some effort, she spoke only from her own mouth, Valkyr staying silent this time.
"More that I can create a connection," she corrected. "Valkyr is my Warframe."
no subject
He gives an awkward smile, shrugging his shoulders.
"Sorry, this isn't something I've got much experience in."
no subject
Battle droid. Had Kylo called her that, a 'droid'?
"I suppose... you could call her that. She's not autonomous, though." Mostly.
"She's my hands, my sword, my will. My anger." Her anger. Her anger.
no subject
And more importantly, he knew how to keep them. It was a necessity, in his line of work.
"So she's linked to your emotions? Kinda? Like if you get angry, she reacts?"
no subject
This was one of the first people she'd told about this, actually, and ironically, exactly what she'd been avoiding telling Adrien.
"It might be easier to show you. Can you-" she held her arm out to him for assistance. She still couldn't walk super well, but if she had some support she could amble effectively enough.
