Date: June 17
Location: Toph's apartment
Situation: Korra comes over for apartment redecoration shenanigans. Talk of Amon ensues.
Warnings/Rating: PG for potential furniture death?
Toph's apartment had three floors.
About three floors of uselessness.
Houses were fine, sure. She'd lived in one all her life, hadn't she? And when she'd been scooped up from her own world, she'd been spending a lot of her time in the Fire Lord's summer home. But the scale of this place tended to emphasize the emptiness of it, the grandeur (though not as elaborate as the Fire Sector's) tended to remind her of home, and overall, the whole place tended to make her feel small.
Annoying. She'd been sleeping out on the roof most nights to avoid it.
She couldn't remember how the topic of redecorating had come up between Korra and herself, or who had ultimately suggested it, but the neo-Avatar was due to come provide some redecorating, make the place feel a little more like home.
If they could make something of this stupid space, something interesting, all the better.
