Characters: Annabeth (
sophos), Eva (
wroughtiron), Percy (
kelpful)
Date: Today, after Evandau's announcement sometime
Location: Annabeth's suite
Situation: Visitations :'D
Warnings/Rating: will edit if necessary?
[Another announcement from Evandau - for all the awfulness it meant for everyone on the turtle - just served as a reminder for Annabeth of Eva. This was the sort of thing she was supposed to share with the woman, but she hadn't even heard from her since making the discovery that she was coming to the turtle. And then she had arrived, according to Zatanna, but Annabeth hadn't heard from or seen her despite that. Maybe she even already knew, though it looked like the message was locked to the consoles alone.]
[It was her own fault, not trying again sooner, but she'd gotten wrapped up in a billion other things over the last few weeks. And now it looked like the hourglass had drained the same as mostly everyone else's powers and technology. What luck. Not to mention what she'd heard and learned from Zatanna, with the potential for more people to learn of Eva's existence because of doubt - it was cause for concern, not just her own, but Eva's, and everyone who already did know her.]
[She's sitting on the couch, spinning the hourglass aimlessly. But there's not too much time to dawdle; she and Percy have every intention of following up Evandau's orders, though in their case at least, it's probably more for the turtle's sake than anything else.]
[She just really hopes Eva is all right, with the dampening; her power was just as dependent on turtle magic. It doesn't matter that she got here at the same time as all this began; there was an honesty in how she spoke of Asti that Annabeth is confident that it wasn't her. It was the Malicant. And though the idea had floated across her mind, she refuses to accept the notion that they could be one in the same. It didn't fit, and it didn't make sense when you looked at all the angles. If only the stupid hourglass still worked.]
