Dorian had told Lord Henry, quite plainly, to stay out of trouble—and Henry would have been in complete compliance with this edict were it not for his chance meeting with Dr Lecter in the sitting room of a Fire Sector pleasure-house. His initial reaction to Dr Lecter's request for a meeting had been to demur, but then, as he often did, he changed his mind. Perhaps it was boredom; perhaps it was simply a liking for the man.
