Needless to say, Kara was pleased to be spending the afternoon with her uncle. He was definitely different from the Jor she knew, but that didn't bother her. He was family, and Kryptonian, and knowing that he was walking beside her made her feel a little less alone in the universe in a way that walking with Kal just couldn't. After all, both she and Jor had grown up on a world that no longer existed. Kal had grown up on Earth. It just wasn't the same.
She didn't bother to hide her wonder as they walked through the old vineyard. She could tell that it had been beautiful once, and full of life. It held a similar sadness to the ruined and abandoned Argo, orbiting its dying sun, but none of the memories. It was more an anthropological adventure than anything else.
It would prove to be more adventure than she had really bargained for soon, as a green glow found Kara's attention just behind a corner of the cellar building.
"That's strange. What do you think it is?" She pointed out the glow to Jor, instinctively moving in that direction.
