So Stiles had a fifty percent chance of picking the arch that might not have been so bad, but had still managed to pick the arch that was to do with misery and despair. Typical. Stiles really had the worst luck.
"But..." Scott really looks like he wants to argue with Isaac, but Scott knows he's right. He has a better chance of finding Stiles with Isaac's help. Two werewolves are better than one, after all. Besides, Scott can't stop Isaac unless he uses his claws, and Scott would prefer not to do that. Scott felt bad enough about restraining Isaac by the throat when he was wolfed out and attacked Allison. Isaac was his friend. Scott didn't like laying a finger (or a claw) on Isaac, or anyone, unless he absolutely had to.
"Okay," Scott finally agrees to Isaac joining him, not that Scott has much choice in the matter. "Stay close to me. Don't leave my side, okay?"
After waiting for Isaac's response, Scott takes a deep breath and steps through the foreboding arch, sensing Isaac right behind him.
