My experience of democracy comes from the neighbouring Strahtans; from what I've witnessed of their governance, the primary problem is that all citizens have a right to hold office only in theory, and that it is primarily the wealthy who maintain power. From a outsider's perspective, I'd say that they might benefit from limiting campaign spending, or only allowing a set amount of tax dollars to be used for campaigning.
