[closed] Good Morning, Mr. Magpie
Characters: Loki Laufeyson and Tony Stark of the 616 persuasions
Date: 09/08
Location: Metal Sector, near Tony's home
Situation: Loki's up to something. No one is surprised.
Warnings/Rating: Threats of violence and/or actual violence involving a sort-of minor, indelicate portrayal of unstable god hallucinations.
Loki looks disarmingly normal today, dressed in the manner of the local folk. No gold circlets or cowls or any of that today, no marks of his station or divinity exist on him save his obvious preference for a color green that matches his eyes. It only serves to make him look very young, and that was helpful from time to time.
Iron Man had surely never thought he'd see the god of mischief as a boy that could hardly keep his bangs out of his eyes, Loki is sure of this. His legs dangle over the roof's edge of one of the single story buildings in the Metal sector, and he rakes the fingers of his free hand through his hair for what felt like the hundredth time.
His other hand is occupied, cupped up and held out as he watches lines of green fire that shiver like they want nothing more than to break free of him. There were reasons he was here today.
And Loki is going for the most epic of fails! the figure no one else could see or hear said quite clearly in his mind. His tenses sharply, visibly. You can't really think you're doing the right thing.
"But I am," he murmurs as the green fire vanished and he waved off his opposite like that might make a difference. He lets a smile slide across his lips, and his body language changes to something far more relaxed as he catches sight of Tony Stark walking down the street. It's not hard to project his voice loud enough to be heard easily, and he does so with a strong, "There you are! You've been so busy that I thought I may not find you!"
Yes, he thinks, randomly accosting Iron Man not but blocks from his home was a good idea.
