I think 'demigod' only applies to the children of the divine, which he isn't...more of an infernal-type thing. [He knows there are other differences. Demigods are forseen. Demigods aren't the crux of the apocalypse, not usually. Demigods aren't beings the entire Host wants to kill on sight.
