He laughed. "If you become a true regular, I'll tell you the story. It's one of many, though, I'm a pretty good storyteller."

He just continued to smile, tilting his head slightly to look at her. Like some things could be seen from a different angle if he actually turned his head. Sometimes things looked better upside down.

"I don't doubt you could. But I'm glad that you don't have to here. Sometimes, people just need a break. There's nothing wrong with that."
