There was one location just outside of the populated area of the Water Sector that Korra had frequented to keep her waterbending skills sharp. Leo was the first one to show it to her, leading her to large open area and also sparred with her. It also happened to be the location where she and Amon fought each other, beating each other within an inch of each other’s life.

That night she had spent at Mike’s while he treated her wounds since her chi paths were blocked off, preventing her healing.

This was also the place where she had found that some of the most important aspects of the airbending training she had practiced with Tenzin finally clicked. Even after all those events, Korra still frequented it.

When she arrived on her own, riding along the canals of the Water Sector as if she was water skiing behind a boat, Korra landed onto the ground and bended the water off her boots so they were dry. Thought it didn’t take her long to notice she wasn’t alone.

Katanas on a shell. A familiar sight that brought a smile.

"Hey Leo, didn’t think I’d see you today. What’s up?" As soon as the words were out of her mouth she started to notice the very subtle difference of the shell as well as the blades that were on it.

Oops. She wasn’t that familiar with the elder Leonardo, they had only met briefly once before.
