Even if several people that had lent money towards the cause, including someone Victor was very close to, he and the other people he was working with continued to gather juulan. It took longer than he would have liked but donations, salvage work, and jobs in the city paid off. And once he had enough, Victor contacted Lieuen to see how they could go about translating the book.
