Situation: Bruce asked Inara to dinner, she’s bringing the booze. Also, Inara’s got something that belongs to Bruce.

The invitation, she immediately accepted. A dinner that wasn’t something beyond her own talents was a welcome change in her life. Rations were meager and while Inara did have some things stockpiled as well as having…ways of getting other things, for the most part she kept her nose clean and stomach marginally empty.

It wasn’t pleasant for anyone these days.

So she dresses for the occasion – to the 9s, as always – and piles her hair on her head, little tendrils falling to delicately frame her face. The dress she chooses is rich greens and golds, and is one of Favrielle’s creations Inara had special ordered before the woman’s disappearance.

She arrives on Bruce’s doorstep and taps lightly, awaiting entrance.
