Location: Jin-Xian, Carlos's console room
Situation: Carlos attempts to dismantle his console. For Science.
Warnings/Rating: None
Lab coat: check.
Safety goggles: check.
Screw driver, crowbar, and other assorted tools: check.
Carefully planned exit routes in case he needed to suddenly run for his life: also check. Carlos had everything he needed. Which meant that now, it was time for experiments.
With tools in hand and what someone uncharitable might call a slightly manic grin on his face, Carlos advanced on the console and started scientifically pulling it too pieces. And it didn't too long in the process for the console to start doing what Carlos would call, in scientific terms, 'exploding with goo'.
This. Was. Fantastic!
The console was made of goo! Or did the goo only manifest when the console was tampered with? And what was the goo made of? He was going to have to get a sample, and analyse it, and run tests on it, and...oh that's quite a bit of goo now. A lot of goo, actually. In fact there was no so much of it that Carlos should probably start getting out of the way, but he didn't have his sample yet...
"No no no no, just...just go into the jar, then you can consume the room, I promise...come on..." Carlos said, trying both escape and usher a portion of the goo into a glass jar, all at once.
