Hayley sighs a little, enough to be audible to the man, but only halfhearted. She continues making her coffee, unwilling to give him the attention that he deserves in this moment. If he's going to play games of neutrality, then she can play apathy. At least she respects him for jumping to it and not beating around the bush. Directness is always admirable in a place where there's so very little of it.
