Location: Wood Sector
Situation: Hilarity.
Warnings/Rating: Super Duper AoT spoilers like whoa.
Life on Tu Vishan was a relatively quiet one, but Eren wasn’t even sure if he liked it that way. In a way that he would be begrudged to admit, it was nice—it’s the peaceful, worry-free sort of lifestyle that, with any luck, their future back home would (and deserved) to have. However, on the other, it felt incredibly wrong to be relaxing—when everything was more dire than it ever was before, how could he laze around as if he were putting off until he felt like getting back to his duties?
(But he wanted to get back to it right now, so it wasn’t a matter of being unwilling. Eren Yeager was humanity’s hope, they always said; Wall Rose had been breached, and he needed to close it up much like he had for Trost. If he wasn’t there to do it, then who could…?)
It was all a thought that never failed to get him underneath his skin. It also wouldn’t allow him to ever stay still for long, and as a result it was rare for Eren to stick around his “home” for too long. Fortunately for him, the city was a large enough place, and even after a month or so later there was still somewhere to go.
Temporary distractions, or something like that. If nothing else, it served to spend his energy doing something.
Eren hasn’t traveled far just yet; he goes through the Wood Sector the most since it’s where everything is closest. And while he still has his military uniform on (by all means, he should invest in some more civilian clothing, but he’s a stubborn boy who keeps putting off anything that may seem as if he’s adjusting to this world), he’s lacking in the Maneuver Gear today; when he had to preserve as much gas as possible, there was little reason to haul it around whenever he wanted—especially when the weapons would be useless when there was no reason to fight. So, he looks a lot like he’s simply taking a casual stroll down the street ways of the Wood Sector, where the atmosphere was a little more lively than usual. Maybe it was the time of day, or maybe the markets had something new going on—the reason itself, whatever it may be, didn’t interest Eren terribly, but at least things around here were worth looking at. Who knew, as the chances of coming across something interesting was pretty likely, if nothing else.
