It's a few moments until there is a crack, a series of fissures splintering in the flat green surfaces. Then they retract inwards, or perhaps are shrinking? It's hard to tell what the action they're taking is, but they're retreating all the same. Leaving the doorway open, and allowing a monstrous-looking mage to step out, staff in hand.
