She tilts her head to the side. "But isn't that what you do with apprentices? You teach them stuff, right?"

But she grins at him over her teacup when he starts to answer anyway. Everything he says sounds far more interesting than anything she's been doing at school. Or well, better than most things. At the mention of magic, she brightens all the more.

"I think you'd be a good teacher. And! If you're not comfortable teaching others, you could teach me some stuff... maybe?"
