There's a lot more truth to a lot of old sailor tales where Arthur's from. Giant krakens, Atlantis, gods and monsters inhabiting the depths of the sea, there's a bit of truth to it all and so that's how he sees the world. The honesty of it rings true in his voice, he's got no reason to lie about anything; his world is his world, and hers is her own. He knows his own truths.
