"Believe me, I do know a thing or two about wrecked ships. We scavenge from shipwrecks quite a bit in Atlantis - if the humans' trash is down there, we might as well put some of it to use. If I did find one, it wouldn't be hard to figure out if it'd be salvageable or not." Not so much an expert on building, but he does know a few things about wreckage. He's got a lot of firsthand experience with things like that.
