"No, you don't get it. I didn't just kiss you because the statues made me. I kissed you because I wanted to...."

Her voice trailed off for a moment, realization if her own words sinking in. And what they meant. She swallowed once, eyes lowering for a moment to try and collect what was left of her coherent thoughts, before continuing on at a much softer tone.

"The statues pushed me. Made it so that I wouldn't care if things went too far. But they didn't just create certain feelings out of nowhere. I could've just said no to you at any time. I could've walked away, like I did when you stopped me. Only I didn't."
