Steph's voice is one of the more welcome ones--Lois has liked Steph for quite some time, and she had Bruce's recommendation. (That thought depresses her for a moment before she shakes herself out of it.) Besides, she's more or less ahead on her work--working overtime will do that.

She pokes her head out of her small, more private office. "Hey, Steph. It's good to see you again." She smiles--it's tired, but genuine.

"I am not about to turn down free stuff."
