[Open] Fools Rush In
Characters: Garrett Hawke, Notch, and anyone lucky enough to run into them!

[After the shows at the welcome center Hawke likes to stick around for a while. The kids are always excited after each show and he doesn't mind answering their questions when they ask them, even if most of them are bold face lies. There's some things kids just should not know. A lot of his stories are edited versions anyway.
Notch has also proven to be a hit with the children. His hound has no problem taking part in the shows and showing off for the kids afterwards. If anything he loves the attention more than Hawke does. More than once he's spotted the dog walking around with a small child riding on his back. It feels good to be doing something that puts smiles on people's faces.]
II
[At night, Hawke takes to the streets for his second job. When he's not sending his people to drops, he's running them on his own. Hawke's never been the type to sit behind a desk and make decisions for people. He much rather be out there doing the work himself. He never could sit still, and for the most part he knows what he's doing. In Kirkwal he helped Athenril's smugglers become the only rivals to the Coterie, the biggest thieves guild in Kirkwall. While he's not exactly looking to do the same here, the experience helps.
As always Notch follows him, serving as his watchful backup. With his dog around he didn't really need anyone else watching his back. Of course that doesn't mean he's about to let his guard down. Dressed in his armor and armed to the teeth, Hawke remains ready for anything.]

[Between his jobs, Hawke still manages to find time for himself. Sometimes it's trips to the markets. Other times he wanders the Water Sector with Quintus. It's fun to watch the baby turtle splash about excitedly. You might think that Hawke never actually sleeps, and sometimes he doesn't. More than once he's gone a whole day or two without ever landing in his bed. It's something normal for him, but without his friends to watch him Hawke has been doing it more and more lately. Now it's catching up.
Though he's yet to get any dark circles under his eyes, his exhaustion is plain to see. More than once Notch braces against Hawke to keep him from tipping over. Eventually he finds a park and settles himself in the shade of a tree. He won't sleep. All he needs is a moment of rest.]
