This asshole is trying to help him? Well, it sure don't seem to Joel like he's being any help. Those people, whoever the hell they were, who dragged him out of the tub when he first woke up in this nightmare of a city did tell him things about the place, a number of different things, but Joel had no reason to listen to any of it. He'd been convinced - and is still convinced - he was either dreaming or had been kidnapped.

The way the guy speaks to him, like he's an idiot, is really pushing it thin now. Any second now, he's going to pull his pistol out on his asshole if he has to.
