Rex had just finished freeing a young kedan who had been trapped under part of a collapsed wall when Korra landed nearby, looking practically radioactive for all the green energy she had about her. As the kedan managed to run off on his own, Rex was unable to keep from staring at the Avatar for a good second or two, trying to figure out exactly what was going on with her. The green energy reminded him of Aya and soon enough he was able to pick out the green ring around Korra's finger. There wasn't time to question where or how she managed to obtain that, however. ...though, hey, if someone was giving those out at any point, sign him up for one because wow. Chido.
"Unfortunately, I was a little too busy trying not to get crushed by part of a falling wall at the time, so no," he responded, getting his train of thought back on track with the issue at hand. "Only thing I did sort of see and hear was another explosion several blocks down after I got outside and I haven't had a chance to get high enough up to see how widespread this mess is, yet."
