Rex ground his teeth as he struggled to get better footing and push the pile higher up. There were still a few kedan left, though to their credit, they were doing what they could to assist from their side, working as a team to push the remaining rubble out of the way so they could get out while their rescuer still had any kind of a handle on the situation.

"Cut me some slack and just buy me a few more seconds!" he called back before being forced to duck his head, more debris raining down from above. "Guys, not getting any cooler in here! Hurry it up!"

Finally, the kedan broke through completely and managed to escape, rushing past Rex and toward the door. Shoving the broken support beams back and down, Rex allowed the rest of the pile to collapse before shedding his machines and following the kedan out. As they exited to the front area, he saw who had been shouting at them, though he wasn't entirely sure what she was doing until he glanced up to see the ceiling threatening to cave in.
