Enjolras, above all else, is a man who simply wants to do good, to enact some measure of justice, and to see it done after such a disaster as this. Perhaps some justice can be found in helping others to heal, in getting out of himself and his own head for a while, as Joly pointed out to him lately. Perhaps his reasons are a little selfish, but he does wish to do something in way of dispensing justice that does not require a gun for a while, and so he is nodding in return.
