It was interesting to watch name magic at work in this place; there was a version of it that Bakura used too, in knowing the names of these creatures, in knowing their strengths and weaknesses and abilities, but it wasn't name magic in the most strict sense -- what Solomon had just used was something much closer to it.
"I call on Newdoria, sign of attack," Bakura stated and the gangly, hunchbacked fiend appeared before him. In a regular duel, its relatively low attack power would make it a target but its special ability was an asset. When destroyed, it could take any monster with it. Skull Servant on Solomon's side was safe, but the Lady wasn't.
Newdoria was, however, too weak to break through her defense... and besides, Bakura wanted to see what the necromancer was planning. Instead he gestured to Solomon as if to say, your move..
