Hawke knows that feeling all too well. For the longest time Notch was Hawke's closest friend. There were his siblings of course, but he was always their big brother. Not to mention that when he was younger, Hawke didn't exactly get along with them.

Watching her interact with Jax brings an even wider smile to Hawke's face. He's never seen this side of her before. If he's honest with himself, he hopes to see it much more.

"It's a pleasure," Hawke says smiling wide. Beside him Notch woofs softly. He looks down to see the dog looking at him expectantly. It makes him chuckle. "And you've already met Notch."
