If Asti swims in the lifestream even now, a place where our souls were borne to be put in a replica of our original bodies, then that proves the Temple's theory beyond a doubt--particularly because they need to store our souls in a separate receptacle, one that affords protection from the lifestream's internal influence. That the lifestream divides and connects three planes indicates that these are all parts of a single universe's soul.
