Wan's shoulders hunched at the sudden hair drenching, but a moment later it was a dry as it had been before. He twisted one hand in a gentle circle and all the water that had been added flowed out of it to join the stream he held in the air. Then with a more dramatic flourish, he sent the water back into the fog where it had come from in the first place.

"Okay, we're agreed," he finally said, "you can manipulate water. I can control it. Got it. Is it just water or can you manipulate the other elements, too?"
