"She's thorough," was Solomon's only answer, and though it was a simple one there was an edge of matter-of-fact approval in his tone. Too many scholars Solomon knew were interested only in the facts that supported what they believed, and nothing else.

"I need a little more than traces," Solomon pointed out, but he commanded the bird to fly down the passage and clear it. "You should give him a name," he added with idle innocence while they waited for it to return.
