"Yeah. Like, months ago. But then you didn't seem to want them anymore, so they've just been sitting around." She lifted a hand to gesture ambiguously in an attempt to exaggerate. The result was her fingers catching on fire again and she sighed, lowering the hand to a safe and empty area in front of her. It didn't hurt, thanks to the way the magic worked, but it was still annoying and occasionally alarming.

Without a word on the subject, Hayley stood to walk over to the kitchen sink so she could douse her hand and hope that would be enough to get rid of the flames.
