Valdis squashed her anxiety, it would do no good to give into it again. Instead she focused her senses on her surroundings. Though she hadn't seen it before its occupation, the palace was in a condition she assumed was due to the enemy's presence. Down and to their right, just hidden below a ridge, there was a slight shimmer in the air. She focused everything on that area, waiting to see if it happened again. It did.
