Akito recognizes Nilin from when he all but lived with Hawke in August, and is glad to both see a familiar face as well as have someone actually show up. He doesn't actually remember her name, however, so when he greets her he comes up with what he thinks is a suitable substitute.

"Hawke's girlfriend! Hi. Today isn't really for fighting as much as it is for discussion... Ah, if... people actually think to come!"
