October Catch All
Characters: Valdis and Open
Date: The rest of October
Location: Various in the Fire Sector
Situation: Various
Warnings: Rating: None yet
A) Cultists:
Valdis knew that she shouldn’t have gotten involved, but her better judgment had apparently been left somewhere else. It wasn’t that she couldn’t handle the situation, it was more that she couldn’t handle it without killing anyone and the last thing the foreigners needed was more dead kedan. But the cultists thought they had won and had taken to terrorizing the neighborhood, her neighborhood. Luckily the local kedan were hiding in their houses, but one of the gangs had run into some of the cultists and all hell had broken loose. So of course, she was quite literally in the middle of it, with the cultists on one side and the gang on the other. Perhaps she really was a goddess of chaos, because she kept finding herself in the middle of it.
B) Turtles (Restricted to people in her CR Chart due to the fact that she is in hound form):
It was midafternoon and Valdis was curled up in hound form, leaning against her turtle's side as the two basked in the sunshine. The small park was deserted, but Valdis was alert, all her senses trained on their surroundings. Bobby was too large to be cooped up anymore and had insisted on going out despite her reservations. She knew that his size would make him difficult to injure, but she worried nonetheless.
C) Lanterns:
It was a huge pain to have to return to her suite every time she needed to recharge her lantern. And not only that, but it made her a target, it made every foreigner a target, for the lanterns couldn’t be moved and hence, the foreigners had to return to their suites which was predictable behavior. But she lay on the couch, reading a book as her lantern charged, trying not to think about how bad their current situation was.
