Upon realizing how badly he screwed up by asking something so extreme of Nelo, Dante had managed to become even more smothering then ever. Of course, he honored the knight's wishes to cook for himself, but he still brought over as much as he could afford to. Just like home, this was very little.
He didn't have to keep close tabs on Nelo; he probably knew better then to burn the place down, and Vergil probably knew how to cook, which meant that Nelo probably did too. That's enough to put him at ease. No, he was just here to try and continue to smother him.
Today, he brought things that he thought Nelo could use in his hobby; such as spices and knives. Most of the spices looked as though they should never go on a fish, and most of the knives were similarly unsuitable. But hey, he's trying, okay?
