Vergil nodded and moved to take down the container the tea was kept in, preparing the tea. "No, Gene is the one who set me free. I was already awake just locked away. Dante had apparently been looking into ways to set me free and Gene was one of those paths. He approached me not long after Dante's disappearance and I agreed." Turning he looked back to Anton.

"I am not quite sure how he did it, but he did. Something was not quite right it is hard to explain but I did not fully feel like myself until after Valdis stabbed me with that horrible blade of hers." He didn't like how it hurt him more than any normal or devil blade he had ever been stabbed with. "It is just a complicated mess. I honestly wish I knew what all Dante had or had not told other's here it would make these things so much simpler." As the kettle started to cry he turned away again to fill the cups.
