Characters: Tu Yunxu, Meisheng, and POSSIBLY YOU. With specific starters for Valdis and Jackie Ma.
Date: From Feb 11th onwards, as Asti floats away from Evidet.
Location: All over Keeliai.
Situation: When Yunxu isn't discussing Keeliai with the emissaries, he's... usually holed up in his mansion. Meisheng, on the other hand, is in public quite a bit this month.
Warnings/Rating: Political machinations, subterfuge, and manipulation ALL OVER THE PLACE. Discussion of gangs and/or spying, and a possible romantic rendezvous. Further edits as needed.
A: Valdis
It didn't take someone particularly observant to notice what happened on the cliffs over Khatronma early in the month. Nor did it take a detective to learn what triggered the event. Yunxu hadn't planned for it, but it was an opportunity nevertheless, and he hadn't gotten to where he was by ignoring opportunities simply because he hadn't been expecting them.
Once Khatronma was in the distance behind them, he sent Lady Valdis a brief message via console, passing on his condolences and inviting her to dine with him at the mansion.
B: Jackie
Something Yunxu had planned was Jackie's relative success with the Snakes, for a variety of reasons that had yet to come to fruition. But with Dante's disappearance from Keeliai, Yunxu needed another Foreigner who presented as competently naive, and wasn't it just his luck that he happened to have one in close proximity?
He didn't, however, send Meisheng to fetch Jackie for him. In point of fact, Yunxu waited for Meisheng to be occupied with something very different, and then sent one of his bodyguards to find Jackie and bring him to the mansion. When Jackie arrived, he would be ushered in through a back door, and he wouldn't be told why.
