We're more similar than we thought
Characters: Aqua, Xion
Date: March 1st
Location: Water Sector canals before the thaw hits
Situation: Ice-skating!
Warnings/Rating: None
It's been about a week since the surprising discovery that she's not the only keyblade wielder in Keeliai, and that the second wielder is none other than Xion. She's spent some time since mulling it over; the how and why still elude her, a masterless wielder being something she'd never imagined. Who gave the girl the power, and why did they not pursue her training? Still, in a way Aqua is happy to not be the only one here. It's a flash of familiarity, a previously unknown common ground between herself and Xion, and though she's been adapting quite well to life on the turtle there's still the longing for home and what she knows.
And for that reason, she had contacted Xion the previous day and invited the girl to enjoy the frozen waters with her. It will be good for Xion, she thinks as she pulls on one of the skates she's borrowed from one of the kedan. It's fairly clear that Xion's life before Keeliai was a far cry from what it should have been for a girl of her age, keyblade or no. And if anything, that realization has only strengthened the sense of protectiveness Aqua has been holding for Xion, a desire to help her reach out and help her move past the shyness.
It will be fun for both of them, she hopes.
