Noncommittal earned Jackie a thinking look, only a little suspicious. "Perhaps," Raine said in a moment. "I know at the least I'm not the same person I was at the beginning of our journey, and doubtless the last year has made changes I can't see. I suspect your friends, should you meet them again, would see some changes in you, as well. But... that's not necessarily a bad thing."
